Help Us Build Our New Scout Storage Hut!

The 1st Orwell Scout Group is excited to announce our plans to build a brand-new scout hut, and we need your help to make it a reality. This new building will be a vital resource for our Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts, providing a central location to store all our equipment and making it easier to organize camps and activities.

Currently, our equipment is scattered across various locations around the village, which makes preparation for our events challenging. A new scout hut will allow us to store everything in one place, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our activities. This facility will be built on the historic site of our original village scout hut, which was tragically lost in a fire over a decade ago.

By bringing our equipment together under one roof, we can expand our group, increase participation, and offer more enriching experiences to the youth in our community. The new hut will not only benefit our scouts but also serve as a resource for the entire village, supporting various community events and initiatives.
